Please take a moment and
visit these exceptional organizations that are devoted 100% to the
support, development and empowerment of women worldwide. There are boat loads of
websites out there and I can use your help with listing the cream of the crop
for this page.
If you
know a woman that you feel deserves recognition for her accomplishments in
business, have a favorite website that supports women's issues, or any resource
( websites, books, DVD's, articles) that you would like for me to share on this
site, please email your submission to me at

Ladies,
Start Your Engines!
A motorist organization for Women in
Houston, TX |
This website was inspired by
a woman's own personal experiences. And then fueled from the enthusiasm
by those with whom she shared her vision. Who among us hasn't
discovered that depending on an automobile can be one of the most
stressful places in which to be? This website has some great resources
even if you don't live in Houston!! |

The purpose of
this website and ministry is to serve the needs of the homeless and/or
those trying to transition back into a better and more productive
quality of life. The way that this amazing woman does this is by filling
gift bags with hygiene, toiletry and feel good items, along with hats
that she crochets. Each bag also includes a Bible for those that want
and need scripture in their lives. Basically anything that will
hopefully regain pride and self esteem to the recipient is part of the
package. She passes these bags out at a local soup kitchen on Thanksgiving
Day. A warm meal and a bag full of love and care helps to brighten the
future of so many. It also instills in them that there are so many
people who care and would like to help. |

Hannah
Laufer-Rottman, founder of Palms For Life worked for nearly
30 years with the United Nations World Food Programme, where she held
several senior positions. She knows what hungry and poor people
experience every day of their life, from her work in 8 different
countries in Africa and Latin America. She was a pioneer in designing a
strategic plan in Ecuador that created a sustainable social feeding
program for which she was able to attract large donations of food and
cash. Thanks to her dedication, she brought hunger and poverty relief to
millions of people. |
